They are naked when they are born- no fur. They eat shrubs and leafy weeds. They get eaten by other animals- probably coyotes in Irvine.

They don't actually live in Irvine but they are the mascot of the University of California, Irvine. We have Peter the Anteater!

Yellow-Breasted Chat
As we were going for a walk, we saw some birds fly by and one perched. Once we took a close look at it we knew we needed to add it to the website. We searched Google for the bird. We think it is a Yellow-Breasted Chat. It might be a Goldfinch though.
